It's been far too long since I've shared something mint chocolate flavored or a baked doughnut.

As my most favorite flavor, a mint chocolate flavored doughnut seemed appropriate for St. Patrick's Day. I've never been a huge celebrator of March 17th aside from making corned beef, cabbage and Irish soda bread a few times, but if it's all about the green, I'll go with mint.

Apple Hill. The place for everything apple you can think of.

Apple juice, apple cider, apple pie, apple cobbler, apple butter, applesauce, apple fritters, apple cider donuts (as seen above), a wide variety of apples and so on. If you want apple anything, they've got you covered.

But I'm okay with that because this year I'm in an apple mood.

I've been making a trip to Apple Hill in the fall an annual thing for the past few years. This time, the weather was just right. Not freezing nor overly hot. And the leaves were changing!

I make it sound this is such an jaw-dropping phenomenon. It's only because it amazes me every year.

If you're thinking, "Seriously Kara, another peach recipe?", I wouldn't blame you.

Yes, another peach recipe. There is the potential for more peach recipes until summer is over and peaches no longer retain their velvet-y texture and distinct peach-y taste. Stone fruit in general is also included in the mix as well (hint hint). Then, we'll move on to pumpkin everything.

I'm kidding, I don't like pumpkin nearly as much as I like peaches.
