Oh bacon, probably the most talked about meat in American society.
And also the meat that is both loved and hated at the same time. But let's forget about that because properly cooked bacon can go a long way.
I've had my fair share of either burnt bacon or undercooked bacon both of which are a no go. I'm looking for a crisp yet chewy piece of salty perfection. And without being splattered in bacon grease or having to clean a greasy pan?
Sounds like an excellent idea if I ever heard one.
You could do this in your sleep.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Line a sheet pan with foil.
Place bacon strips directly on the foil.
Cook for 15 minutes (or until you can hear and smell the bacon).
Drain on a paper towel.
